DISCOVER the sport everyone is talking about. ROWING is a full-body workout that challenges both body and mind.
Once you try it, you'll be hooked!
Rowing has "technical" aspects to satisfy all you A-type personalities while demanding every ounce of endurance and strength for all you gym-junkies! It's weight training, cardio, and yoga all wrapped into one. The only thing that could make it better would be water and outdoors. Oh, wait - we have those, too!
As a added bonus, you will also learn the basics of indoor rowing on the rowing machine or ergometer, commonly called the "erg".
Discover Rowing is comprised of four, two-hour sessions:
Tuesday, May 16 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, May 18 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Tuesday, May 23 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Thursday, May 25 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Each of the sessions will cover different aspects of the sport, so you won't want to miss any. Once you register, you will receive an email with details on where to go, what to wear, etc.
